1 · The shop that stays awake
Larkfield goes to bed at ten. Except for one shop. The All-Nighter prints anything, for anyone, any hour. This week: everything for Zine Fest.
Keep the presses running at The All-Nighter. The current Overprint prototype is a five-minute Shop Floor run: steer Pip, let three Burst drums print automatically, mix their ink fields and collect type for upgrades. Four paper-moth silhouettes chase you across the shop. This is a playable proof of the core loop, with the full nights and story still in development.
Concept art explores the intended look; it is separate from phone prototype images.

Unretouched phone captures and the app’s saved print from the five-minute playable proof. This is a small slice of the planned game.

The night before Larkfield's first Zine Fest in twelve years, paper moths pour into the town's all-night print shop to eat every poster, flyer and zine. Pip, the teenage apprentice, picks up the ink roller. The story below is the opening-script draft for the planned full game; the current five-minute proof tests its combat loop.

A paper moth lands on a fresh flyer and eats the Z. Then the moths came. Hundreds of them. Hungry for fresh ink.
MARGO: Pip? Are you asleep on the A4 again? PIP: No! Yes. A bit. Margo, there are moths. MARGO: Paper moths. Don't let them near the Zine Fest pile. Rosie's loaded. Go.
SVG diagrams explain structure and flows; they are not phone prototype images.
Warm paper, key-black type and three spot-colour inks: fluoro pink, teal and sunflower yellow. Rough edges, halftone dots and imperfect registration make every screen feel freshly printed.
